About Mosaico
Discover Our Story
Walking in through the Mediterranean archway conjures up images of the Tuscan coast. An open kitchen surrounded by colorful mosaic tiles greets you after a warm welcome by the attentive staff. The aromas of Italian cuisine pervade the room and move you to a quiet Italian countryside where the chianti flows freely to wash down baskets of bread and trays of antipasti. Mosaico has been a staple of the Mountainside area for the last twenty years, and welcomes each and every guest to bring an Italian experience, not only a meal.
Meet The Owner
Rudy Carrera
The owner of Mosaico, Guatemalan Rudy Carrera, has designed the restaurant with an open kitchen and decorated it with mosaics, attractive lighting, and polished wood floors; screens with colored-glass panes divide the dining area from the kitchen.
Rudy takes great pride in Mosaico Italian Restaurant, and tries to be present at most events to not only greet, but to get to know his guests and ensure they have the best dining and entertainment experience.

Excellent service in a “white tablecloth” atmosphere. We always love the seafood salad, and pasta dishes are cooked very well/ no mushy spaghetti!
For the food, service, and atmosphere prices are moderate. Try the desserts too!

We have been spoiled by Rudy and his team for nearly 2 decades. The food is always top-notch. No expense is spared with the quality of the food and liquor. You are treated like a member of Rudy’s family. The biggest decision is always which delicious entrée to select from. You will enjoy yourself from cocktail to coffee.
